**Terms:
On most crowdfunding platforms, ie. Indiegogo, funding models are known by the following names:
1. **All or Nothing**: WP FundingToolkit 1.0
This is the same term used on Kickstarter. It refers to the funding model where a campaign must reach its specified funding goal in order to receive any funds at all. (Should The Campaign owner wish to set this type of campaign then yes, it can be done but the owner would need to refund each Backer individually in either their PayPal, Stripe or Bank etc)
2. **Fixed Funding**: WP FundingToolkit 1.0
Indiegogo uses the term “Fixed Funding” to describe the same concept as the “All or Nothing” model. The campaign creator sets a funding goal, and if the goal is not met by the end of the campaign, no funds are collected from backers.
3. **Flexible Funding**: WP FundingToolkit 1.0
This is a different approach where the campaign creator receives whatever funds are pledged by the end of the campaign, regardless of whether the funding goal is reached or not. Indiegogo uses the term “Flexible Funding” to describe this model.
So, on Indiegogo, the terminology is consistent with the general industry terms: “All or Nothing” and “Fixed Funding” mean the same thing, while “Flexible Funding” describes the model where funds are collected regardless of meeting the goal.
**Campaign Closeout Examples:
End on Reaching Goal: In this type of campaign, the campaign will end as soon as the funding goal set by the campaign owner is reached. Once the predetermined funding goal is met, the campaign closes, regardless of the date.

End on Reaching Date: With this campaign type, the campaign will end on a specific date set by the campaign owner. It doesn’t matter whether the funding goal has been met or not; the campaign will conclude on the specified date.

End on Reaching Goal/Date: This combines both the funding goal and a specific date. The campaign will end when either the funding goal is reached or the specified date is reached, whichever comes first.

End on Reaching Quantity: The campaign will end when a certain quantity of products/items has been sold or ordered. This is different from the funding goal as it’s based on the number of items sold rather than the total amount of funding raised.

Campaign Never Ends: In this case, the campaign has no predefined end date or funding goal. It will continue indefinitely until the campaign owner manually decides to close it.
